Know about the ancient Chandrabani Temple today

The ancient Chandrabani temple is situated on the Dehradun-Delhi road. It is believed that this is the same place where Maharishi Gautam's ashram was in the mythological period. Here he lived with Goddess Ahilya and daughter Anjani. Mother Ganga herself had appeared at this place. There is a sacred pool here called Gautam Kund.
