In the latest reshuffle, three Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have been transferred in Uttar Pradesh. ADG Ashok Kumar Singh has been removed after the uproar by women contract workers in 'Dial 112' service. The responsibility of Dial 112 was handed over to IPS Neera Rawat.
Meanwhile, DG (Cooperation) Anand Kumar again came into active policing. He has been made DG of the Crime Investigation Department.

9 IPS officers transferred in August
This comes after the Uttar Pradesh government transferred nine IPS officers, including the police commissioner of Kanpur and the additional director general of Agra zone in the month of August. The additional director general (ADG) of the Anti-terrorist Squad (ATS) of the state police has been shifted as well.
Commissioner of the Kanpur Police Commissionerate BP Jogdand was made the ADG of the Women and Child Protection Organization and ADG of Agra zone Rajeev Krishna was given the charge of the ADG of the Vigilance Establishment.
Anupam Kulshrestha, who was the ADG of Traffic and Road Safety and Women and Child Security Wing (1090), was made the ADG of Agra zone. The ADG of the Police Recruitment and Promotion Board RK Swarnakar was made the Commissioner of Police of Kanpur City.
