Eight children were trapped under the debris of a wall of an under-construction building which collapsed in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida, leading to the death of three of them, the police said on Friday (June 28). The other children were rescued and shifted to the hospital where they were undergoing treatment. All the admitted children are out of danger, the police said.
What did the police say?
The police informed that 8 children of a person named Sagir's family/relatives were trapped when the wall of his house collapsed. Ayesha age 16 years, Ahad age 4 years, Hussain age 5 years, Adil age 8 years, Alfiza age 2 years, Sohna age 12 years, Wasil age 11 years, Sameer age 15 years were trapped after the wall collapsed. Out of these, Ahad, Adil and Alfida died tragically during treatment. Other necessary action is being taken.
