Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking incident, a young officer was found dead in her official quarter room at Sarsawa Air Force base in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district. According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Flight lieutenant Sanjeevni Sharma, who was based in Rajasthan and had arrived at the Sarsawa base to undergo training.
Meanwhile, the SHO of Sarsawa police station, Sube Singh said it appears that an overdose of medicines led to the death of the officer as she used to have fits.
"We have not received the post-mortem examination report yet," the SHO added, as per news agency IANS.

Body sent for post-mortem
Officials of the Air Force base went to her room on Tuesday when she did not report for training. The door was locked from the inside and they broke it to enter and found the Flight Lieutenant lying unconscious on the bed. Soon after, doctors of the base were called to examine her and declared her dead. The matter was then reported to the police.
The deceased flight lieutenant's husband is also a squadron leader in the Air Force and is currently posted in Rajasthan. Reportedly, the body was sent for post-mortem examination but no FIR was lodged.
