In a tragic incident, an 8-year-old child fell victim to a vicious pitbull attack, resulting in severe injuries. Promptly, the child's mother reported the incident to authorities, leading to the arrest of the dog's owner, who now faces legal repercussions.
The detailed complaint filed at Sector 113 police station revealed that the horrifying incident unfolded around 7 pm on May 14. Shivam, the victim, had visited a relative's house in Sorkha at the time.
Suddenly, Shivam found himself under attack by the pet pitbull belonging to the landlord's son while inside the house with his aunt. The ferocious assault left Shivam with multiple injuries, for which he is currently receiving medical treatment.
In the aftermath of this distressing event, the child's mother demanded strict action against the dog owner, leading to their subsequent arrest.
Responding to the urgent matter, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Manish Kumar Mishra addressed the situation, stating, “A formal complaint was lodged by a concerned woman within the jurisdiction of Sector 113 police station. It was reported that her son was visiting relatives in the Sorkha area when he fell victim to an attack by a pitbull owned by a neighboring resident. The child sustained injuries at multiple sites and is currently receiving medical attention. A case has been registered based on this complaint.”
