The month of Sawan in which Lord Shiva is worshipped is starting today. In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has issued guidelines regarding the safety of the Kanwar path and the convenience of the Kanwariyas. This time, where on one side there will be drone monitoring on the Kanwar Yatra route, on the other hand, instructions have been given to close all non-veg and wine shops around the Kanwar path. Along with this, more than 2500 CCTV cameras have been installed on the route of Kanwariyas from Meerut to Muzaffarnagar and Haridwar border.

The kanwariyas across come out in large numbers to offer water to various temples of Lord Shiva. The Yogi government of UP has made special preparations for this so that there is no disturbance in his devotion. Organizers have been asked to take an affidavit before giving permission and leaves of policemen have been cancelled. Instructions have also been given to hospitals located on the highway. Keeping in view the law and order situation, instructions have been given to deal strictly with those making provocative statements and to deal with chaotic elements with full rigour.
