The theft cases are on the rise in several parts of the Delhi-NCR. Stealing side-view mirrors, batteries, tyres and other valuable accessories of vehicles have increased manifold in recent times and the citizens are paying a heavy price for it.
Several commuters have faced the problem. The thieves target the cars and other vehicles parked in the streets and even in the parking lots of residential areas.
One such incident was reported from the residential locality Indirapuram in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. If reports are to be believed the terror of thieves in the posh area of Indirapuram is on the rise. The thieves are targeting parked vehicles outside the houses.
Several valuable items including the car's engine control module (ECM) plates were stolen. The thieves have stolen items from more than half a dozen vehicles by breaking the windows and locks. The incident was captured on CCTV. This particular incident is of the Gyan Khand area of the Indirapuram police station area.
