A threat message to kill Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath which was received on Dial 112 on April 23 night had sent the police into a tizzy. Soon after a man was arrested. What was unearthed next was no less than a funny story. 

According to police, when the call was traced and the owner of the number was reached out to, it was found that his phone was been stolen two days ago. Later on, neighbours told police that a man named Ameen hatched a plan to trap his girlfriend's father in a false case. "Yogi cm ko mar du ga jald hi," read the message sent by Ameen to Uttar Pradesh Police. Just after receiving the message, the police informed senior officials, including ADG, law and order and ADG Intelligence.

Ameen, 18, was agitated with his girlfriend's father, who was not happy with their relationship and in a fit of rage, he stole the phone of his girlfriend's father and issued threats to the chief minister using it. He thought, by doing this, his girlfriend's father would be arrested.
      
The police said, Ameen will be charged with phone theft and other stringent Sections and he will be produced before a Lucknow court on Wednesday.
