Telangana Assembly Election 2023: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state election management committee chairman and Huzurabad MLA Etala Rajender has announced that he will contest the upcoming election from two constituencies. The BJP MLA said that he will contest against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in Gajwel seat and also from his existing Huzurabad constituency.
Telangana CM and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K Chandrasekhar Rao is also likely to contest the upcoming election from two seats namely -- Gajwel and Kamareddy.
With the BJP MLA also announcing to fight against CM KCR, it's going to be an interesting contest.
Assembly election in Telangana will take place on November 30 and the counting of votes is scheduled for December 3. The state is set to witness a triangular contest between BRS, Congress and BJP.
Telangana Assembly Election 2018 result
In 2018 Assembly election, KCR's BRS won 88 out of 119 seats and garnered over 47 per cent of votes. The Congress managed to win 19 seats and got around 28 per cent votes.
