Itel S24 review: Design and display
Before we explore the design and display of the smartphone, let's take a moment to review the contents of the retail box. The retail box includes the handset, a silicon case, a charger, a USB data cable, a SIM ejector tool, and some guides. Additionally, Itel also includes a screen protector with the smartphone.
When it comes to the smartphone design, it looks quite similar to many recent Realme and Vivo smartphones available in the market. It has a circular rear camera module on the back, which includes two different sensors. The phone has a marble-textured design on the back panel, similar to the Redmi Note 13. The side edges are made of plastic but have a metallic finish.
The phone is equipped with dual stereo speakers situated at the top and bottom edges. The speakers produce loud and clear sound, and the placement of the bottom speaker is well-positioned, ensuring it does not get muffled during gameplay. However, when holding the phone in a landscape position, the top edge speaker may get muffled. It also features a headphone jack at the bottom edge.
The display of the smartphone, considering its price, is decent, although users may encounter some problems using it in bright daylight. It is capable of playing Full HD videos and has slimmer bezels on the top and bottom edges.
Itel S24 review: Performance and battery
The smartphone operates smoothly but experiences some lag when multitasking. Additionally, it comes with numerous unnecessary apps and duplicate software. You can uninstall some of them, while others can be force-stopped to free up storage space.
Regarding battery life, the smartphone can last for more than 5-6 days when idle. With moderate to heavy usage, it can last for 1-2 days. The device also supports 18W charging.
Itel S24 review: Camera
The Itel S24 comes with a camera app that offers various features, including Portrait mode, Super Night, Panorama Mode, Pro mode, and more. In terms of camera performance, the Itel S24 provides good picture quality considering its price range. Photos taken in daylight show nearly true colors and decent details. The front camera also works well, capturing good details, and the photos taken from it are decent. The Portrait mode also performs well.
