A basic plan from all the telecom operators in India costs more than Rs 150. However, state-run telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), offers a great value 28-day service validity plan to users. This plan from BSNL offers more than just basic benefits. The plan costs just Rs 108. Here are all the details you need to know about the plan.

BSNL Rs 108 plan details

The Rs 108 plan voucher is available for BSNL customers throughout India. BSNL's Rs 108 plan comes with a service validity of 28 days and includes unlimited voice calling and 1GB of daily data. This plan does not include SMS benefits, but users can recharge with talk time to send SMS. Local SMSes are charged at 80 paise per SMS, while national SMSes are charged at Rs 1.20 per SMS.

There are also other 28-day plans available from BSNL. One of them is a plan voucher for Rs 107, which comes with a validity of 35 days and is available in all telecom circles. This plan offers 3GB of free data, 200 minutes of free voice calling, and BSNL Tunes for 35 days.

Unlike private telecom operators, BSNL still offers such prepaid plans. Vodafone Idea does offer a Rs 99 plan, but its validity has been reduced to 15 days now, making it more expensive.

Meanwhile, BSNL has introduced a home delivery service for its SIM cards. Initially available in Gurugram and Ghaziabad, the service aims to make it easier for customers to get prepaid connections. Customers can order a SIM card through a dedicated webpage on the company's official website under "BSNL SIM Order."

To make this possible, BSNL has partnered with Prune, a company specialising in telecom solutions. This collaboration allows BSNL to compete with private telecom operators already offering home delivery of SIM cards.
