Tech Industry celebrates PM Modi for the third term: Know-why?

PM Modi has been recorded as the Prime Minister for the third time, as a critical phase for bolstering India’s technological advancements and economic reforms.

As Narendra Modi prepares to take the oath for his third term in a row to be the Prime Minister, the tech industry is celebrating, and has been citing to continue as a promise of stability and progress towards India’s long-term goals, like 'Vision India@2047'. 

Industry leaders further believe that Modi's sustained leadership will enhance India's technological and economic landscape, which will drive forward the growth of the nation, in various sectors.

Embracing technological innovation

Agendra Kumar, Managing Director of Esri India, expressed optimism about the role of advanced technologies in Modi’s third term. “With the new government, we can expect the use of satellite imaging, GIS, GeoAI, and digital twins to support developmental initiatives for both urban and rural economies,” Kumar said. He highlighted Modi’s focus on technological progress and innovation, expecting these areas to continue receiving significant attention and investment.

Continued reforming and manufacturing growth

Paritosh Prajapati, CEO of telecom equipment manufacturer GX Group, emphasized on the reforms under Modi’s leadership. He pointed out that major sectors like automobile, electronics, and pharmaceuticals have seen rapid growth due to these reforms. 

Prajapati said, “The continuation of the new government will set those reforms into action. We see a huge impact in the coming years as the ministry drives new transformations, creating new opportunities, jobs, and goals,” Prajapati stated. He foresees a prosperous future for various sectors under Modi’s administration.

Economic and startup ecosystem growth

Ritesh Malik, founder of Innov8 and a serial investor, reflects on the significant growth India has experienced over the past decade. He said that he believes that the coming years will further enhance the business ecosystem, which will particularly benefit initiatives like Startup India and Make in India. 

Malik said, “In the next five years, our ecosystem, ease of doing business, Startup India, Make in India Mission, will keep on growing the economy of the country.”

PM Modi has been record third term as a critical phase for bolstering India’s technological advancements and economic reforms. With an eye on long-term objectives, industry leaders are confident that Modi’s leadership will continue to drive the nation towards greater innovation, stability, and prosperity.
