Samsung introduced foldable phones to the smartphone industry and has launched numerous foldable and flip smartphones. Now, it is gearing up to release a new foldable phone, potentially the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 series has been making waves on social media for some time with various leaks emerging. Excitingly, the support page for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has gone live, listing the model number as SM-F956B/DS. This suggests that the company might introduce the phone to the market soon. Moreover, the smartphone has appeared on several certification websites prior to the support page going live.
Although the support page does not provide any information about the launch, the company has not disclosed any details about the price. However, it is rumoured that the phone could be introduced to the market with a price of up to one and a half lakhs.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 specifications:
- The phone is expected to have a 7.6-inch main screen and a large 6.3-inch inner screen, both equipped with an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
- The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will support the S-Pen stylus.
- Performance-wise, the phone will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and will run on the Android 14-based One UI 6 operating system.
- For photography, the phone will have a 50MP primary camera, along with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP telephoto lens.
- Users can expect a 4400mAh battery with 25W fast charging support in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Meanwhile, Samsung has announced a new smartphone in partnership with Airtel. The new Samsung Galaxy F15 5G Airtel Edition is listed on Flipkart. The smartphone comes with a 50GB data coupon and is said to be paired with an Airtel SIM card. The price and specifications of the phone have been revealed.
