Realme is all set to re-launch its flagship Realme GT series in India. The company’s founder and CEO has confirmed that it will launch a new GT series smartphone in the country. Realme is yet to reveal any details about the upcoming smartphone. However, the company is all set to launch the Realme GT Neo 6 in China on May 9, which will be a sibling of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE launched in April this year.
Sky Li confirmed through an X post that the Realme GT series will be returning to India. The brand is set to launch the sixth generation of the GT series as part of its sixth-anniversary celebrations. The new lineup is aimed at the mid-premium market segment and is confirmed to be a flagship offering. Although the exact model hasn't been revealed yet, it's highly speculated that the Realme GT 6 will make its debut soon. Presently, the GT Neo 3 and GT 2 Pro are available for purchase in India, but the exact moniker and specifications of the new lineup are still under wraps.
The Realme GT Neo 6 is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and is expected to feature an 8T LTPO display, IP65-rated build, and up to 1TB of storage. It will also come with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
Meanwhile, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE was released in China in April with an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant priced at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 18,000). It is equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and has an 8T LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The phone also features a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.
