Realme GT 6T to launch in India later this month: Everything we know so far

Realme’s founder and CEO Sky Li recently announced that the company will launch the sixth generation of the GT series in India soon. Now, the company has confirmed that the Realme GT 6T will launch in the country later this month.

Realme is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in the country. The upcoming Realme GT 6T will mark the return of the GT lineup in India after over two years. However, the company is yet to confirm the exact launch date of the smartphone but it is expected to arrive this month in the country. The upcoming smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset and is likely to be a rebadged variant of  Realme GT Neo 6 SE, which was launched in April this year.

Realme has officially announced via an X post that the Realme GT 6T will be launched in May, although the exact date has not been disclosed yet. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and has reportedly scored over 1.5 million points on the AnTuTu 10 benchmark. This device is claimed to be the first in the country to run on the Qualcomm chipset.

Recently, Realme's founder and CEO, Sky Li, confirmed that the Realme GT series will make a comeback to the country. The sixth generation of the GT series will be launched as a part of Realme's sixth-anniversary celebrations, with a focus on targeting the mid-premium market segment.

The Realme GT 6T is said to be a rebrand of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, which was launched in China in April at a price of CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version.

The Realme GT Neo 6 SE is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and features a large 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,264x2,780 pixels) 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. It comes equipped with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It is offered in different variants that offer up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The device also packs a powerful 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging.
