Nothing sets to integrate ChatGPT in all its audio products

Nothing is reportedly set to introduce the ChatGPT in all the audio products which are available in the market. The OpenAI's service will be active on Ear (1), CMF Buds, CMF Neckband Pro, Ear (stick), Ear (2), and CMF Buds Pro.

Nothing, a London-based consumer tech brand has announced the integration of ChatGPT- OpenAI's Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot into all of its audio products. The company initially announced the integration of ChatGPT into its newly launched Nothing Ear and Ear (a), last month.

Now, the consumer tech brand has announced to integrate the chatbot into all of its existing audio products, which include Ear (1), Ear (stick), Ear (2), CMF Buds, CMF Neckband Pro, and CMF Buds Pro.

In an official statement, the company said, "The integration will be available on the additional products via a Nothing X app update on May 21, earlier than the previously announced June rollout.”

It added, "Users will be able to pinch-to-speak to ChatGPT directly from Nothing audio products paired with Nothing phones.”

Meanwhile, Nothing said that the company has achieved 144 per cent growth (year-on-year) in the first quarter (January-March period) of 2024. 

Citing the Counterpoint Research data, the company further said that the growth has been attributed to the mid-range model, the Nothing Phone (2a) which garnered "significant mind share".

In March this year, Nothing launched its third smartphone named Phone (2a) in the Indian market, which has been priced at Rs 23999 onwards for 12 GB + 8 GB RAM booster.

Founded in 2020, Nothing has sold more than 3 million products globally, including Phone (1).

Nothing recently unleashed a new colour variant for its recently launched Phone (2a). Now the device is available in Black, White and Blue colour variants which is available for Indian users. 
This mid-budget smartphone was launched early last month (March 2024) and incorporated the blue variant, and the company further stated that it has bigger plans for the country. The sales for the blue variant started from May 2 onwards.

CMF by Nothing

Also, it is speculated that CMF by Nothing, a sub-brand from the company might unleash a new smartphone under the brand name, which is said to be low on budget and will cater to the market under a more affordable price range.
