Motorola recently unveiled its next generation of clamshell smartphones. The new Motorola Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra were launched at the Lenovo event in China and selected global markets including North America, Europe, and the UK. Now, a day after its launch, the company has confirmed the arrival of Moto Razr 50 Ultra in India. Motorola Razr 50 Ultra India launch date and availability
Motorola, the Lenovo-owned brand, has announced that it will be launching the Moto Razr 50 Ultra in India on July 4. Motorola is teasing the launch through its official X (formerly Twitter) handle. In addition to this, Amazon has also published a dedicated webpage confirming its availability on the platform and revealing the launch date and specifications.
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra price
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is available in China at a starting price of CNY 5,699 (roughly Rs. 66,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The top-end model with 12GB + 512GB storage costs CNY 6,199 (roughly Rs. 74,000). It is anticipated that the Indian variant of the phone will be priced similarly. The phone is available in Modern Green, Peach Fuzz, and Vintage Denim colour options in China.
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra specifications
The Indian variant of the Moto Razr 50 Ultra will be available in Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Peach Fuzz colours. It is equipped with Moto AI and Google Gemini integrations.
The Amazon listing highlights various features including a 4-inch (1,080 x 1,272 pixels) pOLED cover display with a 165Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and comes with a 4,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra features a 6.9-inch internal pOLED flexible screen and a dual outer camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. It also includes a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, and the phone has an IPX8-rated water-resistant design.
