Jio prepaid recharge plans with 30 days and 60 days validity explained: Check all benefits

TRAI in 2022 asked all the telecom operators to offer at least one plan with 30 days validity. Since then all the major telecom operators in India have offered multiple recharge plans with 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days validity. Here are Jio plans with 30 days and 90 days validity.

Until recently most of the telecom operators in India were offering recharge plans with 28 days, 56 days, and 84 days validity. Most of the telecom subscribers complained that they didn’t have any plans with rounded-off validities. Considering this, TRAI in 2022 asked all the telecom operators to add at least one plan with 30 days of service validity.

Now, Jio offers multiple plans with 30 and 90-day service validity. Let's take a look at all the prepaid plans from Jio with rounded-off validity.

Jio 30 Days Validity Prepaid Plan

All Jio plans include unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited 5G data. The Jio Rs 296 prepaid plan offers 25GB of data for 30 days, while the Jio Rs 349 prepaid plan offers 2.5GB of data per day for 30 days.

Jio 90 Days Validity Prepaid Plan

The Jio Rs 749 prepaid plan provides 2GB of data per day with an additional 20GB of data under the Cricket offer for 90 days. This plan also includes unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited 5G data.

Jio 1 Calendar Month Prepaid Plan

The Jio Rs 259 prepaid plan offers 1.5GB of data per day for 1 calendar month. Similar to other plans, this one comes with unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited 5G data.

Meanwhile, Reliance Jio has introduced a new data plan for its prepaid customers, directly competing with Airtel's Rs 49 prepaid data plan. The launch of Jio's Rs 49 plan comes just before the start of IPL 2024, which begins on March 22.

Jio's Rs 49 prepaid data plan offers 25GB of data, valid for one day. However, to use this data plan, subscribers must also have an active base plan. Although the plan is labeled as "Unlimited data," it does have a fair usage policy limit. Once users consume 25GB of data, the speed will be reduced to 64 Kbps.
