After Infinix Note 40 Pro, new Note 40 series smartphone with impressive design, feature coming to India next

The upcoming smartphone will be a new addition to Infinix's Note 40 series in India, which already includes Note 40 Pro+ and Note 40 Pro. The upcoming smartphone is already available for sale in the Philippines.

After launching the Infinix Note 40 Pro in April this year in India, the company is all set to launch a new Note 40 series smartphone in the country. The upcoming Note 40 5G will arrive next week in the country. The company has also revealed some key details of the handset, including its design and colour options. The smartphone is already available for sale in the Philippines and a similar version is expected to debut in India. Here are all the details you need to know.

Infinix Note 40 5G India launch

The Infinix Note 40 will launch in India on June 21. The phone will have a triple rear camera setup placed within a slightly raised rectangular module. The display will have very slim bezels and a centre-aligned hole punch cutout for the front-facing camera sensor. The USB Type-C charging port and speaker grilles will be located on the bottom edge of the phone, while the volume rocker and power button will be on the right edge. 

The smartphone will be available in Obsidian Black and Titan Gold colour options upon its launch in the country.

Infinix Note 40 5G specifications 

The Indian variant of the Infinix Note 40 5G will feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging and 15W wireless MagCharge support. 

Additionally, it will come with a sound system developed in partnership with JBL, promising immersive audio, 360-degree symmetrical sound, and boosted bass, similar to the ones in the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G and the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G.
The specifications of the Indian variant of the Infinix Note 40 5G have not been announced yet. However, the model released in the Philippines is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of UFS2.2 onboard storage. The phone runs on XOS 14 based on Android 14 and has an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance. 

In terms of camera, the Infinix Note 40 5G features a triple rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors, while the front camera has a 32-megapixel sensor.
