The highly anticipated Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro smartphones are set to debut in India soon. The news surfaced via teaser, on Amazon where these devices are marked as ‘coming soon’. Although HTech has not yet confirmed the official launch date, Amazon has a listing which has sparked significant interest among Indian consumers.
Honor 200 Series: Expected specifications
Also, the specifications for the Indian variants of the Honor 200 series have yet not been released, but the insights could be gleaned from the Chinese versions of these phones.
About Honor 200
The Honor 200 comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ curved OLED display with 2664 x 1200 pixel resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will offer a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, with a peak brightness of 4,000 nits, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.
Under the hood, the Honor 200 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which comes with a 4nm process, which will further be paired with an Adreno 720 GPU. The devices will come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It runs on Magic OS 8.0, based on Android 14.
For photography, the Honor 200 further features a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary shooter with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 112-degree field of view, and a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2.5x lossless zoom. On the front, the device will feature a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor.
Backed by a 5,200mAh battery, along with 100W fast charging support, which further ensures quick and efficient power replenishment.
Honor 200 Pro
The Honor 200 Pro has already launched in China and comes with a 6.78-inch OLED display. This Pro variant has further enhanced the performance stakes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and the Adreno 735 GPU. It comes with up to 16GB RAM and around 1TB of storage, which will cater for users with high demands for performance and storage space.
Anticipation and availability
Honor 200 series is expected to come with significant updates for the Indian market but we can only confirm anything, till the time HTech makes an official announcement.
