Reliance Jio and Airtel are the top two largest telecom companies in the country. Jio currently has more than 46 crore users, while Airtel has a user base of about 38 crore people. Jio and Airtel offer various plans with great and surprising offers for their users, which can be chosen according to individual needs.
Both companies have prepared a wide portfolio for the convenience of their users, with different segments like data, entertainment, calling, and OTT benefits, each offering more than one plan. If you need more data, you can opt for data plans, and if you want OTT benefits for entertainment, you can choose OTT plans.
Jio and Airtel also have some plans with the same price. If you use both Jio and Airtel SIMs, here is a plan from Airtel and Jio that comes at the same price but with different benefits. Here are the benefits offered by both the plans.
Jio's 999 recharge plan
Jio Rs 999 plan comes with a validity of 84 days. Users can make free calls to any network, local and STD, for 84 days. It offers 252GB of data for 84 days, which translates to 3GB per day. In addition to this, it offers 100 SMS per day and a free subscription to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud. Jio also offers unlimited 5GB data with this plan.
Airtel's Rs 999 plan
Airtel also has a Rs 999 plan with 84 days validity. Subscribers can make free and unlimited calls to any network throughout the entire validity. Additionally, users get 100 SMS for free every day.
In terms of data benefits, Airtel offers 2.5GB of data daily, which is less than what Jio offers. However, Airtel provides access to unlimited 5G data for 84 days to eligible users of this plan.
If you enjoy OTT streaming, Airtel's Rs 999 plan may be more appealing than Jio's plan. The plan includes a free subscription to Amazon Prime, so you won't need a separate OTT subscription after opting for this Airtel plan.
