After cutting prices from the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Mi A2, Xiaomi has surprised us with the permanent price drop of the Redmi Y2. The Redmi Y2 is a selfie-focused smartphone that now is now sold for Rs 8,999, after Rs 1000 price cut on the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant, whereas the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version will cost Rs 10,999. The new prices are effective on both the variants and will be available on Amazon India store, Mi.com and other offline partners.

Just to remind that the Redmi Y2 comes with a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and comes powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor. It runs on MIUI 10 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and has a dual rear camera of 12 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with 5 Megapixel camera for depth and AI portrait shot.
On the front is a 16 Megapixel front camera with LED flash, AI beauty and Auto HDR. The phone comes with dual SIM and microSD slot with 3080mAh battery.
