Xiaomi has launched its new flagship called the Mi Mix 3 in China today. This is Xiaomi's first phone that comes with a complete full-screen display and features a retractable back that unveils the selfie cameras of the device. This is the company's latest flagship that succeeds the existing Mi Mix 2S that was launched earlier this year.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Specifications
The Mi Mix 3 sports a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display 93.4% screen-to-body ratio. Powering the Mi Mix 3 is the Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU and will be available in four versions of 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 10GB RAM with 256GB storage. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with support for AI voice assistant along with Google ARCore support.

In terms of looks and design, the Mi Mix 3 gets a magnetic slider design, backed with neodymium permanent magnets, which helps to make the sliding proportion more functional and reliable. The slide function lets users take calls, click a selfie and a lot more. The sliding feature gets personalized sound for screen sliding and the company says that the slider will last for 300,000 cycles.
Getting down with the optics of the device, the Mi Mix 3 gets a dual 12 Megapixel camera that comprises of a Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4µm pixel size, OIS, Dual Pixel autofocus, while the secondary telephoto lens comes with Samsung S5K3M3+ sensor for AI portraits and features AI scene recognition and loss-less zoom.

Towards the front is the 24 Megapixel front camera with Sony IMX576 sensor, 4-in-1 Super Pixel, supported by a 2 Megapixel DOF secondary sensor with flash. The camera comes with features like 4K video recording and 960 fps slow-motion video recording, as well as a Steady handheld night photography for better low-light images.
The camera of the Mi Mix 3 gets a DxOMark Mobile score of 103 points along with the DxOMark Photo score of 108 points, while the video gets 93 points. The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and gets a ceramic back. It houses a 3,850mAh battery with support for fast charging with 10W wireless charging feature and also comes with a wireless charger. Xiaomi would be launching the Mi MIX 3 5G in the first quarter of 2019.

Xiaomi will be launching the Mi Mix 3 in three different colours that include Onyx Black, Jade Green, and Sapphire Blue. The Xioami Mi Mix 3 price for the 6GB RAM variant is 3299 yuan (Rs 34,800 approx.), the 8GB RAM version costs 3599 yuan (Rs 37,965 approx.), the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant costs 3999 yuan (Rs 42,185 approx.), while ‘The Palace Museum’ Special Edition with 24K gold-coated bronze statue and 10GB RAM with 256GB storage costs 4999 yuan (Rs 52,770 approx.). Xiaomi will start selling the Mi Mix 3 in China from 1st November.
