After launching Redmi 5 in India, the Chinese-smartphone company Xiaomi is all set unveil its Mi Mix 2s on March 27 in Beijing. The official posters of the phone are out now. Going by the Mi Mix 2 teaser, which CEO Lei Jun shared on his Weibo account, it is evident that there will be no iPhone X-style notch on the device. Brand ambassador Wu Yifan can be seen holding the new phone in his hands. The earlier leaked information about the flagship model revealed that there will be a selfie camera on top unlike Mi Mix 2 and original Mi Mix.
Mi Mix 2 is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It will also have an 8 GB RAM and 256 GB variant of Mi Mix 2s. The display size will be somewhere around 6-inches with non-existent bezels on the side. The bezel at the bottom will be thicker, giving it a similar look to Mi Mix 2.
The teaser also made one thing clear that Xiaomi is in no mood to copy Apple’s flagship model iPhone X. The rumours claimed that Mi Mix 2s will be having the iPhone X notch design. It is instead sticking with a clean, barely there top bezel. Many new features like fast charging and glass back are expected to come with Mi Mix 2s. However, it is not yet confirmed if Xiaomi will launch Mi Mix 2 in India or not.
