Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite leaks have surfaced online with "bamboo_sprout" and "cosmos_sprout" codenames. These devices will be the successor to Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite that were launched last year. According to XDA Developers, the “bamboo_sprout” and “cosmos_sprout” will run on Android One and reports suggest that the Xiaomi could be working on three Android One smartphones.

The bamboo_sprout is touted to be Mi A3, while cosmos_sprout will be Mi A3 Lite and pyxis will be Mi 9X. Mishaal Rahman, XDA Editor-in-Chief tweeted about that there could be three upcoming smartphones that will be powered by Snapdragon 7XX series, which can either be Snapdragon 710 or Snapdragon 712. There have been earlier reports that point to Snapdragon 730 chipset. Looking at the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, both the phones were powered by the Snapdragon 600 series processors.
The Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite are said to run on stock versions of Android 9 Pie with 32MP selfie camera support along with in-display fingerprint sensor and more.
The Mi A3 is expected to come soon in India in coming months.
