Redmi Note 5 will be made available for purchase in India second time this week, owing to popular demand. People who have been trying to book the newly launched Redmi Note 5 were facing problems as the stock goes out within few seconds of commencement of sale. Keeping the increasing demand in mind, Xiaomi announced a surprise flash sale on Twitter. The official handle of Xiaomi India tweeted on Friday about their flash slae.
The Redmi Note 5 was made available on 12pm IST on Flipkar.com but not on Xiaomi official website. The tweet didn’t mention anything about Redmi Note 5 Pro which is also giving a hard time to users who are trying to book one for themselves. However, Flipkart listing mentioned both Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. The next sale would be commenced on Wednesday next week.
The 55-inch Mi TV 4 and 32-inch and 43-inch models of Mi TV 4A were also on sale at 12pm on Friday through Flipkart.com.
Redmi Note 5 -- a successor to the highly-acclaimed Redmi Note 4 -- will cost Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant and Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB variant.
It also sports a 12MP rear camera, up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and an LED Selfie-light for low-lighting conditions.
Redmi Note 5 Pro will cost Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB variant and Rs 16,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM option.
Housing the dual rear-camera system (12MP+5MP) and a 20MP selfie shooter, Redmi Note 5 Pro is the first Xiaomi smartphone to come with the "Face Unlock" feature. It also has the latest Snapdragon 636 processor.
