Xiaomi Black Shark, the company's gaming smartphone brand is set to launch in the European market by 16th November. The Black Shark is touted to be the world's first liquid-cooled smartphone, which will officially be making its first global appearance, outside China.

Being a gaming-centric smartphone, the Black Shark comes with a green and black coloured design with DCI-P3 wide colour gamut support, and Quick Charge 3.0 support. The phone gets a dedicated One-touch SHARK key for an immersive gaming experience and the fingerprint sensor on the front can be used for other features like silent mode, DND and more during gaming. The smartphone also comes with a Bluetooth-powered precision gamepad that offers a competitive edge.
Followed with the announcement of the global availability of the Black Shark, the company is offering certain pre-order discounts and gift cards lined up as part of the Black Shark Lootbox Challenge, with giveaways to lucky winners.

The Xiaomi Black Shark is a dual-SIM smartphone that sports a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 403ppi. Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with Adreno 630 GPU and will come in two specs of 6GB RAM/8GB RAM variants followed with 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage.

For optics, it comes with the dual rear camera setup comprising of a 12MP primary sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor. Towards the front is a 20MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.0-micron pixel size. Under the hood is a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and for connectivity, the phone comes with 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.0, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS and a USB Type-C port.

The Xiaomi Black Shark was launched in China for CNY 2,999 (Rs. 31,400 approx.) for the base variant and goes up to CNY 3,499 (Rs. 36,600 approx.), for the 8GB RAM+128GB variant.
