Sikur has gone and made an announcement that the SikurOS will now be compatible with all Android phones. The company will also be launching two highly secure smartphones that will be based on Sony Xperia XZ1 and XA2. Moreso, both these smartphones share the same names that are called as SikurPhone XZ1 and SikurPhone XA2.

The phones will be coming with the same hardware that Sony had debuted them with way back in 2017, but the notable difference here is the fact that the phones now run on Sikur’s highly secure Android software. The SikurPhone XZ1 and SikurPhone XA2 comes with “several layers” of security.  Note that third-party apps using the Unknown Sources cant be installed, like other smartphones and there will be very few apps that would be compatible with Sikur’s software. It also comes with a cryptocurrency wallet that keeps it safe and secure from getting hacked.

Shikur had announced phones way back in MWC in February. The phones run on old Android version as the software is heavily customized and is not for regular people, but for the ones who want their information in the phone confidential, like cryptocurrency.

Sikur has not tipped on the price here but seeing that the SikurPhone XZ1 or XA2 are from Sony, they seemingly wouldn't be cheap.
