Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone and the Galaxy S10 5G at an event back in February. Samsung had already said that the company would announce the Galaxy Fold availability in the US starting from 26th April. The company has confirmed that users can now reserve the Galaxy Fold from April 12 before pre-ordering it from April 15.

Samsung will be making the Galaxy Fold available via AT&T and T-Mobile as well as Samsung Experience Stores from 26th April. In terms of pricing, Samsung has already announced that the phone will be available for $ 1,980 (Rs 1,40,760 approx.).
Samsung Galaxy Fold specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Fold comes with a 7.3-inch QXGA+Dynamic AMOLED display that comes with 4.2:3 aspect ratio Infinity Flex Display that can fold into a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with 21:9 aspect ratio cover display. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 855 processor backed with 12GB RAM.
The device gets a triple rear camera at the back, with a dual camera set up on the front when unfolded and a single camera on the 4.6-inch display. It gets a side mounted fingerprint sensor where the thumb rests naturally and houses a 4,380mAh battery that features wireless and wired fast charging.
Samsung will also start selling the Galaxy S10+ 5G in the US, which recently was launched in Korea, starting from May with its pre-orders starting soon.
