Realme, the budget smartphone maker is said to enter China with the Realme X that will be making its way to India as well. Realme X with model number RMX1901 appeared on TENAA and had also made its way in an official promo video that shows the phone with a pop-up selfie camera. As far as the launch is concerned, the launch is scheduled for 15th May in China. Realme India head Madhav Sheth in an interview to India Today said that the Realme X will be launching in India too.

While the specs of the phone are still not confirmed, the Realme X has received the Bureau of Indian Standards certification (BIS), which suggests that the phone could launch soon.
The phone is expected to come powered by Snapdragon 730 SoC and will come in three variants of 6GB RAM+64GB, 6GB RAM+128GB and 8GB RAM+128GB. Other features of the phone are likely to include Corning Gorilla Glass 5, in-display fingerprint sensor and VOOC 3.0 fast charging. It is likely to come with a dual rear camera setup of a primary 48MP sensor along with a 5MP depth sensor. The Realme X price is expected to be under Rs 20,000.
Another leak suggests that there will be two smartphones in the Realme X series called the Realme X and the Realme X Pro. The Realme X Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor and is expected to be priced between Rs 23,000 to Rs Rs 26,000.
