Realme 6, Realme 6 Pro with 90Hz display, punch hole design launching in India today: Highlights

Realme 6 will be up for grabs starting March 11 at 12noon. The smartphone is priced in the following manner:

• 4GB+64GB - Rs. 12,999
• 6GB+128GB - Rs. 14,999
• 8GB+128GB - Rs. 15,999

As a part of the launch offers, the Realme 6 Pro buyers can get Rs. 1,000 off using Axis Bank cards. The smartphone will be available starting March 13, 12 noon via Realme.com, Flipkart and offline stores.

• 6GB+64GB - Rs. 16,999
• 6GB+128GB - Rs. 17,999
• 8GB+128GB - Rs. 18,999

Realme Band will be available in India starting today at 2PM with a price tag of just Rs. 1,499. 

Realme Band gets a 2.4cm colour display and comes with 5 stylish dial faces. The company promises to bring more watch faces with the upcoming updates. The band can also track various sports including cricket. It also comes with a heart rate sensor along with Ideal alert and Drinking water alert. The band can also show notifications from calls, messages as well as third-party apps. Unlike the Xiaomi Mi Band 4, the Realme Band can charge without a cable as it comes with a USB connector that can be directly attached on a power bank.

Realme 6 Pro gets a 16MP+8MP dual camera setup on the front in a punch-hole design. The secondary lens brings ultra-wide more to fit in more people in your selfie. Apart from that, the company has announced that the Realme 6 Pro gets a 64MP  quad-camera setup at the back.

Realme 6 comes with an in-display 16MP selfie camera, which comes with features like AI beauty, portrait mode, HDR selfie and more. The company has also slapped in a 64MP quad-camera setup on the back. Apart from the 64MP lens, the camera setup includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP Black and White portrait lens and a 2MP macro lens.

Realme 6 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T processor that makes use of two A76 cores and six A55 cores. Realme claims that the performance is better than other competitors in the segment. Also, the performance of the Realme 6 beats the Realme 5 Pro. The processor is not only fast but also cool as it can maintain the performance even after 1 hour of aggressive gaming.

The new process used to make the Realme 6 increases the colour brightness and saturation by 60 percent and 50 percent respectively. This helps in bringing the comet-like design. Realme 6 will be available in two colour variants - Comet White and Comet Blue.

Realme talks about the 90Hz refresh rate panels on the Realme 6 series. The company claims that the display smoothness experience will get 50 percent better compared to the regular 60Hz panels.

As a part of the pro features list, the company slaps in a 64MP camera on the Realme 6 series. The Realme 6 series take advantage of the Samsung GW1 sensor for capturing 64MP high-resolution display.
