Poco, the subbrand of Xiaomi that was launched in August this year could be launching two new variants of the phone soon. The two new smartphones would be the armoured edition of the existing lineup that was launched only in an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

According to reports from Mysmartprice, the Poco F1 Armoured edition could be coming in a 6GB RAM/ 64GB variant and a 6GB RAM/128GB variant as well. An official statement from the company is yet to be revealed, in context to the new variants of the Armoured edition.
The Poco F1 comes in four options that include a 6GB RAM/64GB storage version, 6GB RAM/128GB storage version, 8GB RAM/256GB storage version and a special Armoured Edition 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant with Kevlar back cover. In terms of pricing, the Poco F1 with Kevlar back is priced at Rs 29,999, whereas the standard version with 8GB RAM/256GB storage is priced at Rs 28,999. The company could do the same with the other remaining variants.
The standard Poco F1 6GB RAM/64GB version comes for Rs 20,999 and the 6GB RAM/ 128GB version is priced at Rs 23,999. Considering the new Armoured edition for these two, we could expect a price bump of Rs 1000 approx.
In terms of specifications, the Poco F1 comes with a 6.18-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display, backed with 1080x2246 pixel resolution and aspect ratio of 18.7:9. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC and runs on MIUI 10 on top Android 8.1 (Oreo).
For cameras, the phone has a dual rear panel at the back that includes a 12 Megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a secondary 5 Megapixel sensor. On the front is a 20 Megapixel selfie shooter with AI features. It houses a 4,000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Type-C.
