Oppo, the Chinese smartphone maker is seemingly set to showcase a new multi-zoom camera technology at an event that will be held in China on 16th January, in China. Known for its innovations in smartphones, Oppo seems to be focusing on bringing out more innovative devices this year as well. It has already established six research institutes and four R&D centres around the world and according to a recent teaser, Oppo just might be working on a smartphone that could feature a 10X hybrid optical zoom technology.

The company went on to take this up on Weibo, where it teased the image of the upcoming event, scheduled for 16th January in China. The image in the poster doesn't reveal much about the technology. With the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 coming closer, we can speculate the company to showcase a smartphone with the 10X lossless zoom technology, at the event.

For now, nothing can be said on what phone it will be but considering the MWC 2019 getting close, we assume Oppo could unveil a smartphone with the given 10X lossless zoom technology, at the event.
