Oppo has launched its latest R-series smartphone in India called the Oppo R17 Pro. The phone was first launched in China way back in August. This is the first smartphone that comes with Super VOOC fast charging technology that charges the phone really quick. Other key features of the phone include the waterdrop-style notch, in-display fingerprint sensor and 8GB of RAM.

The Oppo R17 Pro sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED on-cell display, with a waterdrop-style notch that comes with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 16 million colours. Powering the phone is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor paired with Adreno 616 GPU and 8GB RAM, with 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded to 256GB via microSD card.
For the camera department, the Oppo R17 Pro comes packed with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 12 MP primary sensor which features a variable aperture of f/1.5-2.4, a secondary 20 MP camera with f/2.6 aperture and a third TOF 3D stereo camera that aids in depth effects. The rear camera setup is supported by LED flash and features an Ultra Night Mode that uses AI-based algorithms which helps in low-light photography. On the front is a 25 MP camera to click selfies. Under the phone is a 3,650mAh battery that supports Super VOOC charging (10V/ 5A, up to 50W), which with a bi-cell design (2x1,850mAh) can deliver up to 40 per cent charge in just 10 minutes, and complete charge in just 40 minutes.

The Oppo R17 Pro price in India is Rs 45,990. The phone will be available in two colour options of Emerald Green and Radiant Mist. Pre-orders for the phone had started on Oppo's own site from 1st December and will start through Amazon India from 9:30 pm today.
The launch offers of the Oppo R17 Pro include a 10 per cent cashback on HDFC credit and debit cards, as well as EMI transactions. There is also up to 3.2TB of Jio 4G data, with benefits from Jio up to Rs. 4,900. Other offers include one-time screen replacement, no-cost EMIs, and an extra Rs. 2,000 off on exchange. A Paytm Mall cashback of Rs. 3,000 will also be available in select stores.
Oppo also launched the Oppo R17 in the Indian market, priced at Rs. 34,990. The availability details were not mentioned at the event.
