Oppo announces its latest mid-range smartphone under the K-series in China called the OPPO K3. The phone comes with a no notch AMOLED display and the next-gen in-display fingerprint scanner. It gets a pop-up mechanism selfie camera that lifts in 0.74 seconds and comes in a 3D gradient back with an S-shaped curve.

OPPO K3 specifications
The OPPO K3 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display with (2340 x 1080 pixels) and is powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 10nm processor with Adreno 616 GPU. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner that is 28.5 per cent faster and comes in three configurations of 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/256GB storage. It comes with Dual SIM and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0.
The phone comes with a dual rear camera of 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2 Megapixel secondary camera. Towards the front is the 16 Megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It gets a 3.5mm audio jack and measures 161.2×76.0x9.4mm, weighing 191g. It gets Bluetooth 5, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and comes with 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

The OPPO K3 price starts at 1599 yuan (Rs 16,105 approx.) for 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 1899 yuan (Rs 19,130 approx.) for 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 2299 yuan (Rs 23,160 approx.) for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage. The Oppo K3 will be available in three colour options of Green, Nebula Purple and White colours. The phone will go on sale in China from 1st June, whereas the 8GB/256GB variant will be available in mid-June.
