New Twitter update on app makes tweeting photos and videos easier
New Twitter update on the camera allows users to capture images and videos, along with live footage to start a Periscope live stream by swiping left from the home timeline.
Twitter has rolled out an update on the camera that allows users to capture images and videos, along with live footage to start a Periscope live stream by swiping left from the home timeline. As soon as the user captures the image or video, one can add the location as well as text on a colored label and Tweet instantly. This new feature is very much like Snapchat that was announced at the SXSW 2019. Twitter announced the new feature via video tweet and the new camera-focussed feature is expected to roll out both on Android and iOS anytime soon.

The new feature makes the Twitter app similar to WhatsApp and Instagram that will bring sharing new images and videos forward. Previously, users on Twitter were required to click on the compose tweet first and then select camera to share, but now users will be able to quickly swipe from the Timeline to start recording with ease.
Twitter recently was spotted testing a new mobile app called ‘twttr’ that happens to be the experimental beta app that would come with Twitter’s new conversations feature, before it is rolled out to the public.
