Meizu announces its new mid-range smartphone in China called the Meizu 16Xs. The phone runs on Flyme OS 7 based on Android Pie with One Mind 3.0 AI and features a 48 Megapixel rear camera with Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor along with an 8 Megapixel 118.8° ultra-wide camera and a 5 Megapixel sensor. It gets plexiglass back and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner that unlocks phones in 0.2 seconds. It misses out on the 3.5mm audio jack but gets a new EP2C Type-C headset with built-in DAC.

Meizu 16Xs specifications
The Meizu 16Xs comes with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 18.6:9 Super AMOLED On-Cell display with 430nit brightness and is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform with Adreno 612 GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM/64GB storage along with 6GB RAM/128GB storage.
It gets Dual SIM and the phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Flyme OS 7. There is a 48 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1/2.25″ Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, 0.8um pixel size, f/1.7 aperture with PDAF, ring LED flash, 8 Megapixel 118.8° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5 Megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture. On the front is a 16 Megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
It houses a 4000mAh battery with 18w fast charging and gets USB Type-C audio.
Meizu 16Xs price
The Meizu 16Xs is priced at 1698 yuan (Rs 17,150 approx.) for the 6GB RAM+64GB storage and 1998 yuan for the 6GB RAM+128GB storage. The phone will be available in four colour options of Blue, Midnight Black, Coral Orange and Silk White. The phone will go on sale in China on 10th June.
