Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad X1 Extreme laptop in India, which was first introduced at IFA 2018 as the most powerful ThinkPad series of laptops. Lenovo says that this laptop is ideal for video and photo editing, graphics rendering, data-intensive workloads along with virtual and mixed reality applications.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme comes with a 15.6-inch display with 4K UHD HDR touchscreen, 400nits brightness, and Dolby Vision, along with a Full HD non-touch display with 300nits brightness option. All the variants are powered by GTX 1050Ti graphics that can be configured with up to 64GB RAM. It comes with two PCIe SSD storage that can be expanded to 2TB. It gets a dual-fan cooling system that features hybrid cooling to regulate the heat dissipated.

For connectivity, the ThinkPad X1 Extreme comes with two USB 3.1 ports, 4-in-1 SD card reader, two USB Type-C Thunderbolt ports, HDMI 2.0, audio/mic combo, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC 2×2 and Bluetooth 5.0. It comes with other security options like a fingerprint reader, Fast Online Identity (FIDO) authentication capabilities, dTPM 2.0, ThinkShutter, Windows Hello with facial recognition and Kensington lock slot.
Coming to the battery, it houses an 80Wh battery that offers 15 hours of battery life and has a Rapid Charge technology that delivers 12 hours of backup in a 60-minute charge.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme is launched in India in three configurations, with the prices starting from Rs 1.97 lakh for the one with Intel Core i5 chipset, Rs 2.04 Lakh for the Intel Core i7-powered variants with 512GB and Rs 3.02 Lakh for the 1TB of SSD storage variant.
