The Huawei Y9 (2019) houses a 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2. The phone will be an Amazon exclusive and will launch on 10th January.

Huawei, the Chinese smartphone company is all set to launch its new Huawei Y9 (2019) in India on 10th January. The phone was initially expected to launch on 7th January, but the event got cancelled and the company has now sent out new invites for the event.

The launch event will take place in New Delhi at 10:30 AM IST and the company is positioning the phone as an entry-level flagship for the market. The phone will be an Amazon exclusive, wherein the page on Amazon teases a 'Coming Soon' tagline along with a 'Notify Me' option. Huawei Y9 2019 specifications

The Huawei Y9 2019 sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+2.5D curved glass display that comes with 2340x1080 pixel resolution with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 with 91 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by an Octa-core Kirin 710 processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU and comes in two configurations of 4GB and 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB internal storage, respectively. The storage on both can be increased to 128GB using a microSD card. 

For cameras, the phone gets four cameras with two in the front and two at the back. The front cameras include a 16 Megapixel primary camera with 2 Megapixel secondary camera, while on the back is a 13 Megapixel primary camera with a 2 Megapixel secondary sensor. The phone houses a 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2.
