Huawei had recently released a teaser image on Weibo regarding its new smartphone that would come with an Infinity-O-like display and now the Chinese manufacturer has released a new poster that reveals the launch date of the smartphone. The latest image by Huawei on its Weibo page suggests that the Nova 4 will officially launch on 17th December, at an event that will be held in China.

Considering the image revealed by Huawei, the Nova 4 will feature a hole in the screen for the selfie camera, placed in the upper left corner of the display. The phone is expected to come with a high screen to body ratio.

Considering this phone to be a successor to Nova 3, the specs of the smartphone could include a Kirin 980 SoC with 7nm architecture, backed with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone might also come with a 4GB RAM variant as well. For optics, the phone is expected to come with a dual-camera setup, both on the front and back and might feature connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, BeiDou, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and Dual 4G VoLTE. The Nova 4 might run on EMUI 9.0 on top of Android 9.0 out-of-the-box.
Samsung and Asus too are expected to launch new smartphones with Infinity-O Display on the next flagship.
