Let's take a look at the OnePlus 6T, which leads the segment against Huawei's subsidiary brand Honor that launched the Honor View20 in India, taking on the OnePlus territory.

Honor View20 vs OnePlus 6T: Design and display
Starting off with the design of both the smartphones, both Honor View20 and OnePlus 6T come with a bezel-less design and glass body, but considering the looks, the Honor View20 looks more premium and stylish, given the V-shaped texture on the glass back that comes with the nanolithography technology that provides a nanotexture to the body that helps in creating a vivid and dynamic V-shape colour gradient giving a gleaming effect at the back. OnePlus 6T, on the other hand, comes with a glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection that offers a subtle curvature under a decent lighting condition.
The OnePlus 6T comes with a USB Type-C Port and the speaker grills on the bottom while the Honor View20 retains the 3.5mm audio jack, including an IR blaster on top making it more user-friendly. Both phones get dual SIM slots with support for Dual 4G VoLTE.
Getting on with the display, the OnePlus 6T comes with a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display (1080 x 2340 pixels) along with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection with a Waterdrop notch, while the Honor View20 comes with a 6.4 inch IPS LCD (1080 x 2310 pixels) touchscreen with the punch hole display offering the phone a higher screen-to-body ratio.
Honor View20 vs OnePlus 6T: Performance
The Honor View20 uses the latest Kirin 980 7nm processor with GPU Turbo 2.0, NINE liquid cooling backed in two configurations of 6GB RAM+128GB GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage. The phone comes packed with dual NPU that help with better Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration.
The OnePlus 6T, on the other hand, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm processor backed with Adreno 630 and three configurations of 6/8 GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage.
Considering the Geekbench 4 Single Core sore of both the phones, the Honor View 20 comes scores 3314 while OnePlus 6T 8GB RAM variant scores 2431. In Geekbench 4 Multi-core score, the Honor View 20 scores 9663, while OnePlus 6T 8GB RAM variant scores 9033. Never the less both phones perform equally well in real-world performance.
Honor View20 vs OnePlus 6T: Camera
In terms of camera, the Honor View20 comes with a whopping 48 Megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor along with a PDAF
TOF 3D stereo camera. The rear camera uses 4-in-1 light fusion that offers better low-light images at a 12 Megapixel resolution with 4-times improved HDR support. Other features of the phone include AI scene detection that can recognize over 60 categories and 1500 scenarios. On the front is a 25 Megapixel camera for selfies and video calls, placed in the punch hole in the display. With AI and Pixel binning technology the 48 Megapixel rear camera delivers sharp images with natural colour and for slow-mo the Honor View20 supports 960fps.
The OnePlus 6T comes with a 16 Megapixel primary rear camera along with a 20 Megapixel secondary camera with f/1.7 aperture. Towards the front is a 16 Megapixel camera with Sony IMX371 sensor. The cameras on OnePlus 6T capture great images too and works better in HDR mode. For slow-mo, the OnePlus 6T comes just with 240fps.
Honor View20 vs OnePlus 6T: Battery
The OnePlus 6T houses a 3700mAh battery and comes with Dash Charging technology, while the Honor View20 comes with a 4000mAh battery with fast charging. Both phones take almost one and a half hours to charge from 0 to 100 per cent of which Honor View20 delivers more than 19 hours 30 minutes of usage while OnePlus 6T delivers almost 18 hours and 50 minutes of usage.
Honor View20 vs OnePlus 6T: Conclusion
Considering all the aspects of both the phones, the Honor View 20 seems to be a better value of a phone as it gets a better design, camera and a more power efficient processor than the OnePlus 6T.
The Honor View20 6+128GB is price starts at Rs 37,999 and goes to Rs 45,999 for the 8+256GB version.
