Gmail gets revamped by Google on both Android and iOS
According to Google, with new designs, one will be able to quickly view attachments like photos without having to open and scroll through the conversations.
In order to suit the latest trends, Google has gone to revamp its entire set of products that includes Sites on the web, Sheets, Slides, GDrive and Docs. Now the search engine giant is all set to bring a new look to Gmail on mobile space, after rolling it out on Gmail web. According to Google, with new designs, one will be able to quickly view attachments like photos without having to open and scroll through the conversations. This new development has made it easy to switch between the accounts to access emails with ease.

Google has also gone and replaced the search bar at the top of the screen and just like the web, users will receive a similar red warning as an alert when thing seem to be a threat. By improvising machine learning, Gmail will be able to assist users in drafting emails faster using Smart Compose or reply to messages much faster, provided with suggested responses made by Smart Reply.
To prioritize what’s important or overdue, it can also follow up with emails with subtle reminders in your inbox and also notify users to reply to threads. The new update comes as a part of a larger effort that can bring the look and feel of G Suite apps together making it easy to use.
Google also went on to mention that "In coming weeks, you’ll see the new mobile design in Gmail on Android and iOS, with more G Suite mobile apps to follow later this year.”
