Garmin, the smartwatch maker company has launched the Instinct, which is a rugged GPS-enabled smartwatch that is aimed at people with sports and extreme activities. The smartphone is for those who do lots of outdoor activities.

The Garmin Instinct price in India is Rs 26,990 and comes in Graphite, Flame Red and Tundra colours, which will be sold at Garmin authorised stores, Amazon India, Paytm Mall, select Helios stores and at garminstore.in.
The smartwatch gets 3x-axis compass, barometric altimeter as well as support for multiple navigation satellites that includes GLONASS, GPS and Galileo. Other features of the watch include a wrist-based heart rate monitor that can calculate daily stress levels and track your heart rate zones while exercising.
The Garmin Instinct lasts for up to 14 days on a single charge on a smartwatch mode and according to the company, the watch can last up to 16 hours with full GPS tracking and 40 hours if you use the power-saving UltraTrac mode.
The watch is compatible with other outdoor Garmin products that include InReach Mini that lets users send and receive messages and also initiate an SOS call from the watch. The watch also integrates with the Virb action cameras as well as Garmin's Astro dog-tracking collars.
The case of the watch is made out of a fibre-reinforced polymer that helps to add strength and durability. This smartwatch according to Garmin is built to the US military standard 810G for thermal, shock and water resistance (rated to 100 meters).
Garmin Instinct comes with Garmin’s Connect phone app support and offers fitness features that include a wrist-based heart-rate monitor, wellness data and sports apps.
