Black Shark, the Xiaomi sub-brand that is a gaming-focused smartphone is said to launch the BlackShark 2 in India. The phone will be launching on May 27th and the company has started sending out media invites for the launch event.

The phone is reported to come with gaming accessories like Gamepad 2.0 that help in better gaming performance. The Black Shark 2 was certified by India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) that suggests the phone is very much launching in India soon.
Adding on to the phones gaming performance, the device comes with top-notch hardware backed with Liquid Cooling 3.0 that includes liquid-cooled plate and liquid cooled tube that covers all heat generating components of the CPU.
In terms of specs, the Black Shark 2 comes with a 6.39 inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 resolution, 403 ppi and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone is said to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the right is the power button along with 'shark slider' that offers improved gaming performance, while the left side gets a volume rocker.
Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 855 SoC along with Adreno 640 GPU. It houses a 4,000mAh battery that supports 27W fast-charging and gets connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, Dual 4G VoLTE, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, and GPS.
At the back is the logo with green coloured decals that run along the sides. For cameras, it comes with a 48 MP sensor along with a 12 MP sensor and LED Flash while on the front is a 20MP camera on the top bezel.
The Black Shark 2 will be available in two colours of Frozen Silver and Shadow Black. The Black Shark 2 6 GB + 128 GB price starts at ¥3199 (Rs 32,600 approx.), 8 GB + 128 GB ¥3499 (Rs 35,700 approx.) and 12 GB + 256 GB ¥4199 (Rs 42,800 approx.).
