Asus has launched its new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and the new Zenfone Max Pro in India. Both the phones were recently launched in Russia. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 will be a successor to the popular budget smartphone ZenFone Max Pro M1, while the ZenFone Max M2 is an upgrade to the ZenFone Max M1.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 specifications
As far as the specs are concerned, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:9 display with a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels, while the screen gets 94 per cent NTSC Color Gamut, 450 cd/m2 brightness, 1500: 1 contrast ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The phone comes powered by the Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 SoC that is based on the 14nm architecture, backed with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone comes with a 4GB RAM/64GB / 128GB internal storage that can be expanded to 2TB using a microSD card. It comes with Dual SIM technology (nano + nano + microSD) and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo).
In terms of camera, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with dual rear cameras that include a 12 Megapixel camera with Sony IMX486 sensor, which features f/1.8 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF, EIS, PDAF and LED flash, along with a 5 Megapixel secondary camera. For clicking selfies, on the front is a 13 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash. Other than this the phone comes with a Fingerprint sensor placed at the back, NXP Smart Amp and a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options of the phone include a Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5 and GPS + GLONASS. It houses 5000mAh battery and comes in colour options of Blue and Gray colours.
Asus Zenfone Max M2 specifications
The Asus Zenfone Max M2 comes with a 6.3-inch HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. The Zenfone Max M2 comes powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 SoC, which is clocked at 1.8GHz. The chip works on the 14nm Mobile Platform and comes with Adreno 506 GPU, packed in two variants of 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The storage can be increased to 2TB using a microSD card. It comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) support and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo).
For cameras, the Zenfone Max M2 comes with a dual camera set up that includes a 13 Megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture, EIS and LED flash, along with a 2 Megapixel secondary camera. On the front is an 8 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It comes with other features like a 3.5mm audio jack, NXP Smart Amp, FM radio and has a fingerprint sensor at the back. For connectivity, the phone comes with Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. It houses a 4000mAh battery and comes in three colour options of Blue, black and Gold.

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 price in India starts at Rs 12,999 for 3GB RAM/32GB storage, Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage and Rs 16,999 for 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant and will be available on Flipkart, while the Asus Zenfone Max M2 price in India starts at Rs 9,999 for 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage at Rs 11,999.
