Apple has launched the new Smart Battery Case that has been designed for iPhone XS, XS Max and XR. The new cases are similar in design like the one for iPhone 7 that gets a bump to add an extra battery pack. The new Smart Battery Case is expected to extend the talk time of the device by almost 39 hours.

The Smart Battery Case comes with a soft-touch silicone exterior along with a soft elastomer hinge design and a microfibre lining inside. The smart Battery Case for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR are available in Black and White colour options. It helps to increase the battery life of the phone and is said to provide 33 hours of talk time in iPhone XS, with up to 21 hours of internet use, and up to 25 hours of video playback. On iPhone XS Max, the Case offers 37 hours of approximate talk time, with 25 hours of video playback time and almost 20 hours of internet usage. For the iPhone XR, the Battery Case offers up to 39 hours of talk time, up to 22 hours of internet use, and up to 27 hours of video playback.
According to Apple product listings, the new Smart Battery Cases are compatible with Qi-certified wireless chargers and provide an intelligent battery status on the iPhone’s Lock screen and in Notification Center. The Smart Battery Cases are priced at $129 (Rs 9,160 approx.) and is up for sale via Apple website.
