Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus will launch its revamped flagship OnePlus 5T globally at a mega event on November 16. While the event will be held in New York, OnePlus has given its Indian fans an opportunity to catch the developments LIVE.

PVR Cinemas in select cities will be airing the OnePlus 5T launch event live and fans will need to pay Rs 99 to watch the live event.

The OnePlus 5T goes on first sale in India on November 21, five days after its launch and availability will be exclusive on Amazon starting November 28.

A big draw for the OnePlus 5T will be its price. Techradar reports that there will be no change in price for the OnePlus 5T from the OnePlus 5 in UK. The portal claims to have accessed some confidential documents suggesting it will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage options.

The smartphone might become available at starting price of Rs 32,999 in India.

In terms of design, the OnePlus 5T will sport a thinner top and bottom bezels and an 18:9 display.

Leaks reveal that the device will feature a 6-inch display with Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset with options for either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage.

The smartphone is expected to retain its dual -- 16 MP primary and 20 MP secondary -- camera sensors. An added attraction expected is the front 20 MP camera.

In terms of other features, the phone will support Dash charging, though there is no official word on its battery size yet. The OnePlus 5T will not ditch its 3.5 mm headphone jack.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said in a blog post that audio quality and user freedom were key reasons behind retaining the proprietary audio jack.
