London, Jun 24: Twelve times Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal was knocked out of Wimbledon on Monday by Belgian's World number 135 Steve Darcis in the very first round.
Darcis won by 7-6 (7/4), 7-6 (10/8), 6-4 and sent the fifth-seed Spanish superstar crashing out of Wimbledon. Nadal faced his first ever loss in the opening round of a major tournament.
In the next round Poland's Lukasz Kubot will play Steve Darcis.
