Paris: Top seeded Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal has confirmed his number one spot for the 2013 season on Monday when Czech Republic beat Serbia 3-2 in the Davis Cup final.
Following Nadal is Novak Djokovic who won both his singles for Serbia in Belgrade, but he already knew that the points he received for that would not be enough to get back the top spot from the Spaniard in what was the final tournament of the year where ATP points were accessible.
The pair will be dormant from the ATP circuit until the new year and the buildup to the Australian Open in Melbourne.
