Jankovic Rretires In 4th-Round Match At Wimbledon

WIMBLEDON : Fourth-seeded Jelena Jankovic has retired from her fourth-round match against Vera Zvonareva at Wimbledon due to a back injury.

The Serb had treatment when trailing Zvonareva 6-1, 3-0 on Monday and retired three points later. It is the fourth time Jankovic has bowed out in the fourth round at Wimbledon.

Zvonareva, who reaches the quarterfinal at the All England Club for the first time, will face the winner of the all-Belgian clash between Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin. AP
